Bum Panadda Walks Exercising Arms in Detention Cell, Police Question Further Before Court Detention

"Bum Panadda," wearing the same suit, walks swinging her arms to exercise in the detention cell. Police hold her for additional questioning before preparing to present her for detention at the Criminal Court at 10:00 today.

At 07:00 on 7 Nov 2026 at the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) headquarters, reporters observed Ms. Panadda Wongpudi, known as Bum, president of the Ong Tum Dee Foundation, walking and swinging her arms for exercise inside the women's detention cell at the CIB complaint center building. She wore the same black suit she had on since yesterday after being brought to the cell at 22:45 on the night of 6 Nov. Officials escorted her away from the media gathered outside the Pitak Santi building after she had been questioned for over 10 hours. During this time, lawyer Phet arrived to accompany her to the cell. His team also provided a pillow and blanket to the detention officers to give to Bum, concerned she might be uncomfortable sleeping.

The women's detention cell held only Bum, while the men's cell contained three detainees, including Mr. Gott, her husband.

Later in the morning, lawyer Phet and two assistants left, leaving one assistant behind in case Bum needed anything further. They took back the pillow and blanket they had left the previous night.

At 07:30, investigators from the Economic Crime Division took Bum Panadda for additional questioning after over 10 hours of prior interrogation, before preparing to bring her for detention at the Criminal Court at 10:00 today.

Mr. Eksit Srisang, known as lawyer Phet, representing Bum Panadda, said that this morning's proceedings remain part of the ongoing investigation. Regarding preparations for bail and other legal actions, he will consult with his client about how much information can be disclosed. Any developments will be announced later.

Regarding the mental state of Bum Panadda and Mr. Athip after being detained and questioned throughout the previous night, lawyer Phet stated that he believes they have come to terms with all that has happened and are prepared to face whatever comes next.
