“Teacher Jeab” Points Out Suspicious Condition of Boon Panadda’s Luxury Bags Worth 3–5 Million Baht Each

“Teacher Jeab,” a brand-name expert, points out suspicious features of Boon Panadda’s luxury bags priced at 3–5 million baht each, but their condition raises doubts, suggesting they may be counterfeit.

In the case involving the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) under the Economic Crime Suppression Division, police held a press conference about legal action regarding complaints from the Foundation for a Good Society, associated with Boon Panadda. This has sparked intense online debate, especially about the brand-name products shown in news photos. Sellers and brand-name experts have commented, raising suspicions that several items, particularly a white bag with oddly shaped handles, may be counterfeit.

On 8 Nov 2026 at 16:50, reporters visited the TCF Institute (The Catch Fake Brandname School) in Bang Phut Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, to meet Ms. Sunisa Aekwitayavechnukul, known as Teacher Jeab and the institute’s director, to seek her opinion on the issue.

Teacher Jeab revealed that online public opinion largely agrees that the bags in the news photos may be fake, which aligns with her own view. From an initial assessment of the images—considering the bag’s shadow, shape, and overall appearance—the bags do not closely resemble authentic products. The white crocodile leather bag, currently the focus, has handles bent out of shape and lacks aesthetic appeal.

Regarding the Hermès Himalaya crocodile leather bag, an authentic one would be worth approximately 3–5 million baht, while counterfeit versions she has seen typically cost in the hundreds of thousands of baht. However, verifying brand-name items from photos alone cannot guarantee authenticity. Based on her brand industry experience, some bags in the images, especially Hermès, exhibit suspicious features and the visible quality level is not suitable even for counterfeit goods.

Teacher Jeab also discussed behaviors of those using counterfeit brand-name products, dividing them into two groups: those unaware they purchased fakes and were deceived, and those knowingly using counterfeit items alternating with genuine ones—for example, using authentic bags some days and counterfeit ones on others. However, counterfeit goods should still have quality close to the real items. The products currently in question appear to be of low grade and not fit for use, and the general public would likely notice their irregularities.
